Ode to Jackson Hole-Part 1st Camping at Leigh

Here's Jed getting the canoe to start our adventure of camping overnight in the Teton Mountains.  Our favorite site is Leigh Lake #15.

Here is the thinking rock where you sit and watch the sun set, then listen for the fish to start jumping into the night.

On one side is a beautiful sandy beach with perfect wading depths.  The only hitch is that the water is run-off from the upper mountain glaciers.  It's plenty cold.
Wild life in around Leigh and String Lakes.

Mt. Moran saying good-bye.

Yep, but I need practice so we could do an introducing photo shoot for little B. When are you guys getting your digi-camera. We should take a class together. And yes we saw 2 grizzlies that trip. This little guy was just bumbling around in the bushes for berries so it wasn't scary at all...more sweet. I wanted to cuddle it.
